About: Elegant Scandinavian modern travertine coffee table on teak base, designed by Folke Ohlsson for DUX of Sweden. Generouslly-proportioned boat shaped polished travertine top with beautiful veins throughout. The substantial travertine slab floats on a minimal, solid teak base. In wonderful condition, with a small chip and gleaming wood base. The chip on the corner of the stone top was patched and has a faux finish to blend it, but you can still see the difference in the texture where the patch is, see photos for details. Sweden, 1960s.
